ECU Connect Dashboards can be configured and shared form user to user, a tuner or friend can create a dashboard and then email or transfer the configuration file straight to your device so it can be imported back into ECU connect and the Dashboard used in your app.
Creating a dashboard
To create a dashboard follow the Knowledge base Article (ECU Connect dashboards - Setup and Use ), After you have created the Dashboard you can send it to a friend or customer and import directly into ECU Connect. You can even Import a Dashboard set up for a different model, though you will have to set up the logging parameters again.
Exporting and Importing Dashboards (IOS)
To Export a Dashboard simply go to My files select the dashboard to send and then send it through your preferred method e.g. Email or message.

To import a dashboard into ECU Connect simply download the file and open, the device will ask you which program to use to open the file in which you should select ECU Connect.

When importing a dashboard from a device with a larger display ECU Connect re-scales the widgets on each page if the size of these widgets is becomes to small the following error is displayed.

Converting a Dashboard
When importing a Dashboard set up for another vehicle type ECU Connect can convert the gauge layout across, this will require you to set up the parameters again before you can use the Dashboard. It will keep the Backgrounds, titles positions and names that were set already.
Then simply edit the parameters imported so that the gauge displays the correct information and use it on this new vehicle.
